The Brief
To create texture blocks chosen from texture explorations done during surface design, capture keywords that tie them together and create an apparel collection, inspired from the same.
It's an exercise in understanding the visual weights of different textures, and exploring how they can be brought together into a cohesive design language.
Classroom Project
The silhouettes were chosen to be light and flowy, featuring subtle construction details to compliment the prints, meant for a Spring/Summer capsule collection.

The Final Looks
Hues of Indigo were chosen to take the final collection forward into a colourway exploration, with the textures hypothetically being converted into hand carved wooden blocks, dipped into indigo dye and printed onto light-medium weight cotton.
